SCHOLARSHIP

‘In collaboration between Foundation Hiphop Academy and VDEF, three hip-hop talents received a special scholarship in 2024. Amisha Kumra (movement artist), Catoo Lustig (director), and Tim Postuma (dancer/choreographer) have spent 2024 at the Amsterdam Hip Hop Centre, taking new in-depth steps in their artistic careers. During a presentation on Friday, December 20, 2024, they shared more about the journey they have undertaken and showcased their current progress.’

Catoo herself used this scholarship to take a deep dive into three directions: expanding her network and knowledge within the international concert industry, gaining knowledge about community building and setting up her own platform: AS WE ARE productions.
